About
This site is a little project that lets me make fun of some things and sense of others. I use it to think a little more relationally without resorting to doing actual math.Subscribe

Ha! FINALLY! Someone else gets why I don’t listen to the crap coming out of the radio anymore.
Ke$ha, anyone?
Did you know that poorly-performed cover tunes kill or maim more people each year than drunken drivers? I’m pretty sure that’s true.
As for the intersection, see also: Hollywood.
On second thought, skip it. It’s a sequel, and not as good as the original.
That overlap between “VHS” and “File Sharing”? It’s called “Amnesia”.
I’m adding Katy Perry and Lady Gaga to this list, though Gaga hasn’t bombed out yet. Though it’s inevitable, given the way she farms out her songwriting now.
These two actually do go hand in hand because the current music industry will make you want to blow your brains out and the long buried land mines will get the job done.
Love it.
This is the reason I refuse to listen to anything except The Current (89.3) out of Minneapolis/St Paul. No Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, or Ke$ha. It’s a beautiful thing. For your musical happiness, you can livestream the station at thecurrent.org.
There is plenty of good music being produced. It’s just not really mainstream.
Imogen Heap, anyone?
I read it in reverse.
The music industry.
Or, long burried landmines.
I quite laughed.
(they are lame..)
I’m a closet pop music industry basher. High fives!
