This site is a little project that lets me make fun of some things and sense of others. I use it to think a little more relationally without resorting to doing actual math.

You, too can earn a living with visuals.

October 30th, 2009 at 11:26 am
Ouch.
October 30th, 2009 at 11:36 am
Long-time fan! I love your site! I find the titles to be as clever as your cards themselves.
Keep up the great work!
October 30th, 2009 at 11:42 am
Fellatio aside, this is pretty funny! I’m amazed daily at the wit that can be put in a simple chart.

Or, if you live in Swallow Falls: Ratbirds! Nice comic for a Friday.
October 30th, 2009 at 12:06 pm
My, what an insightful, intelligent comment.
October 30th, 2009 at 12:07 pm
(sorry, referring to JoBlo)
October 30th, 2009 at 12:18 pm
Bird + Rat = Bat
“Any idiot can complain, and most idiots do”.
Go Blo yourself, Jo.
October 30th, 2009 at 12:24 pm
BWAH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA… Bankers with Jets! sweet!
October 30th, 2009 at 12:24 pm
Hey, I think Jo must be a pigeon.
October 30th, 2009 at 12:54 pm
Right on!!!
October 30th, 2009 at 1:03 pm
The overabundance of geese in the Midwest encourages their inclusion alongside of pigeons.
October 30th, 2009 at 1:16 pm
Who are we to dictate how their companies are run?
At least, those who did NOT accept taxpayer money?
October 30th, 2009 at 1:41 pm
If Joblo is a banker this shows he’s not a very smart one. By commenting first he set himself up the get flamed. And probably deservidly so.
October 30th, 2009 at 3:38 pm
JoBlo is something else you should never feed: a troll.
October 30th, 2009 at 4:09 pm
“THIS SUCKS DICK… YOU ARE A HACK.”
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
October 30th, 2009 at 4:51 pm
This hack sucks, you’re a — oh, I’m sorry, did I feed the troll again?
October 30th, 2009 at 8:58 pm
I always read the cards first, then the title. I laugh, then I smile. It is good and it is rare. Thanks.
October 30th, 2009 at 11:39 pm
Aw, did you find a scapegoat? How sweet. *pats on back*
Bankers are people too. They have families to feed, and they’re no more greedy than you or I. A century from now people will realize the real causes of this financial situation and people like you who scapegoat, discriminate, and hate based on profession will be regarded in the same manner as those who do so based on gender and race.
October 31st, 2009 at 3:28 am
@Sirrah
If not the bankers, then who? Time will give clarity, but there is still blame that must be placed. Every effect has a cause.
Also: Pretty sure that bankers can still vote, own property and have a profession. 20 acres of land and a donkey can hardly be compared to millions of dollars per year.
October 31st, 2009 at 2:51 pm
@sirrah - Bankers sold loans to people that couldn’t afford them. Then they tried to hide the loans. The economy collapsed. Thanks bankers.

A banker is someone who lends you an umbrella when the sun is shining, and who asks for it back when it starts to rain.
November 1st, 2009 at 8:08 am
oh boy do i feel stupid. i only just put together the whole don’t feed the troll\pigeon thing. haha.
November 1st, 2009 at 8:18 am
@mike - do you not think the ignorant fools who borrowed money they couldn’t afford to pay back, are at least partly to blame?
November 2nd, 2009 at 12:28 am
@bryce: In banking, the tradition was that the fault lay on the one who foolishly loaned out money to somebody who couldn’t pay it back.
November 2nd, 2009 at 1:47 am
@Gray Falcon
That was back when you expected/wanted to get the money that you loaned back.
With modern banking, one’s return is independent of the actions of one’s debtors.
…Or something.
November 5th, 2009 at 6:40 am
I love it ! I would mention bat in the intersection…
November 9th, 2009 at 9:45 am
“Bankers are people too. They have families to feed, and they’re no more greedy than you or I”
I’m a banker. that statement does not apply to me or many of my colleagues - we’re greedy bastards.
