    The Romans had their Coliseum, we have our Televisions. They threw Christians to lions, and we throw starlets to the media. After all, we don’t just put them on pedestals so we can look up their skirts; it’s also fun to watch them fall. Watching someone crawl through the depths of personal ruin helps us to feel better, by comparison, about the pointlessness of our own struggles. What could be better than that?

    Oh, gotta go! Rob Ford update on the news…
