  1. Scott says:

    Only some women are people?

  2. Nathan says:

Ummm, not true? All women are people, but not all people are women. According to this chart only about 25% of women are people and about 75% of people are not women.

  3. marcus says:

I was thinking along the same lines as Nathan. Why isn’t the entire “women” circle contained within the “people” circle?

  4. fm says:

I’m assuming the comic is intentionally mysignoistic, and that most of women are subhuman. Post break-up comic?

  5. Jimmy C says:

I think the meaning is that she would like to feel both a woman and a person, separately and together.

  6. unknown says:

maybe it’s only that true women are people?

  7. tudza says:

“Kids are people too, wacka do wacka do.”

Her diagram is correct. Read the title!!
It explains what she is trying to point out.

  9. Jack Assels says:

Fictional women aren’t people, and fictional people aren’t women. Superman and the woman who has a career, a husband, a growing family, an active social life, and several secret lovers come to mind.
The Venn diagram looks good to me.

I believe you, but it seems from looking at the world, the jury is still out on that. But, women have my vote!

BTW, the shape of the diagram does seem vaguely microphallic; I wonder if anyone else noticed this, or if I should seek treatment.

Never trust anything that bleeds for 5 days and doesn’t die.

  12. Arturo Torres Sánchez says:

Well, a Venn diagram show all possibilities, but the fact is that the difference the set of women and the set of people (i.e, W – P) is the empty set.
    You should make that clearer.
