About
This site is a little project that lets me make fun of some things and sense of others. I use it to think a little more relationally without resorting to doing actual math.Subscribe

Too true. Too true.
But sometimes, ignorance is bliss.
Meaning, I get angry less rapidly on hold than I do once I get through and the company fails at customer service.
or number of buttons you have to press to get an answer and still never reach a real person!
Especially when you pay an extra fee while waiting…
The thing I hate is the number of stupid automated messages you go through. The only reason they have them is because so many people are too stupid to check online before they call in, so the company needs to make a long list of automated “quick fixes”, if you will. It boggles my mind that some people still find calling in to customer service and waiting 30 minutes on hold to be more convenient than doing a simple search online.
The only time I call a company is when I have a problem that I know I need to talk to a person to solve. If it’s not online, then it must be done by a person.
If you are in the upper right corner then tht probably means that you are using the phone call as an excuse to get your spouse to keep track of the kids.
@Kel … absolutely spot on .. ah!! … the simple pleasures of life
@Matt
Unfortunately, you should realize that not everyone has access to the internet nor the know how to access these “quick fixes”.
I will think of this as a I put people on hold today.
that’s true..i agree with you.
“Unfortunately, you should realize that not everyone has access to the internet nor the know how to access these “quick fixes”.”
More than 75% of the population has access to the internet. And if you don’t know how to work Google, then there’s something wrong with you.
