  1. Mike says:

I’d tell you if I’d bought my face mask already but I don’t want to start a panic.

  2. Cyllid says:

I think face-mask sales, alone, would be better.

  3. Chaz says:

There’s no such thing as bad publicity, I say …

  4. Mike says:

Everyone is selling The Fear these days.

  5. bryce says:

@ mike, good song. but on a more serious note, it’s not everyone, it’s the media.

  6. articice says:

one more good one about the swine flu bullshit )

  7. drugserbad says:

I don’t think as many people know what pandemic means as you think… otherwise there wouldn’t be such a ridiculous over-response to this whole thing.

  8. Ros says:

    @Mike

Everyone? I thought that was just Lily Allen (oh, and the media)

  9. Holly says:

Isn’t that backwards? If people knew what a pandemic was they’d know that this isn’t remotely one.

  10. Pandora says:

Agree w/ Holly. New graph: inverse relationship between ‘people who understand what “pandemic” means’ (independent) and ‘face mask sales’ (dependent)!

  11. Mike says:

    I agree, it seems backwards.
