About
This site is a little project that lets me make fun of some things and sense of others. I use it to think a little more relationally without resorting to doing actual math.Subscribe

Damn you..
This is gonna be bad for my coworkers.
Too late. Colbert planting this earworm last night and it’s been squirming around ever since.
*Think about the Don’t Worry, Be Happy Song* Now whistle it to yourself…ah thats better!
Added 3 new gifs to my Daily Gif Blog, giveaway ends today!
DB
Or mono…
I put this as my Facebook status. One must spread the day ruining.
This is almost as devastating as a Rick Astley Song…
I see your earworm and raise you one: “Popcorn” by Hot Butter. Do do doot do dada DOOT!
actually, mere mention of it made my day :D love you
“Tainted Love” is my general-purpose earworm cleaner. Sometimes the cure is worse than the disease..
Thank the Gods I don’t know that song. Now returning to my regularly scheduled Beethoven. ;)
I loved the play on the word “catchy” LOL
Gee, thanks Jessica. Now I’ll have to take a titanium spork to my brain to fix it.
My friends and I are old enough that I can annoy them just by humming the first few bars of either the “Gilligan’s Island” or “Green Acres” theme songs. The latter being more annoying and pervasive for whatever reason.
Don’t know Hanson… bumped into The Macarena the other day though…Oof.
So I’m thinking now of some kind of product which, applied regularly, would reduce the effects of earworms (but you’d probably still be able to pass them on to others, though) – I’m thinking I’ll call it “Brazilian Earwax”…
“It’s a Small World, After All…”
You only need to learn to live with one earworm that kills the others.
Think of “Istambul (not Constantinople)”
I haven’t thought about MMMBop in a long, long time.
I hope I won’t think about MMMBop again for a long, long time.
This comic is hilarious, but it also makes me lose the game.
Aaaannnnd I’m now left with “Rockafeller Skank” stuck in my head. Thanks a lot.
@Mike C
Istanbul. With an “N”
I think “Particle Man” is a little better in this case.
My stock response to complaining:
“It could be worse–you could have the Macarena stuck in your head.”
AWW, I love Hanson….but they are more than just MMMBOP
Dave Barry calls this “brain sludge”.
