    Which axis measures ‘connections’ of the privileged variety? Surely a bit of ‘who-you-know’ affects this chart?

    You could probably imagine that factor in a few different ways, I think.

    I’d say, connections could lower the practice needed, or lower the talent needed. Connections would basically move where the X and Y intersect.

    Starts on third base, thinks the triple was hit, that old saw.

    Eh, maybe.
